About

SMAC is a local service and social sorority at the State University of New York at Geneseo.

We are proud to live by our five founding principles: service, unity, loyalty, scholarship, and wellness.

In 2004, Sisters Making a Change, also known as SMAC, was started by our founding mothers Jamie Romeiser, Joanne Henson, and Stephanie Remmick. Along with the brothers of Men of Action and Change (MAC), the organizations formed the Action and Change Coalition. In fall of 2012, the benefits of joining SUNY Geneseo's Greek system became apparent to us and, as of spring 2013, we are official members of the inter-greek council.

Our size allows us to become very close with numbers fluctuating between 30 and 50 sisters.

Please visit our "Active Sisters" page to meet our current members!
